About the Team:
The Growth & Operations team oversees the launch strategy and onboarding of users to the World Network across all markets. This team deploys and manages all orbs worldwide and serves as the primary point of contact for local Operators. This team is responsible for effectively onboarding active users to the World Network. Overall, the Growth & Operations team is on the frontlines of Tools for Humanity’s ambitious mission of helping to build a globally-inclusive identity and financial network.
The Growth & Operations team consists of three subteams 1) Expansion 2) Growth & Operations and 3) Central Operations. The Expansion team is responsible for the market assessment, setup, and initial go-to-market. The Growth & Operations team is responsible for ongoing management, partnerships, business development, and marketing. The Central Operations team enables operational excellence by ensuring alignment across all markets and providing Support and global Operator communications. All subteams work cross-functionally with many other areas of the business to successfully drive growth.
About the Opportunity:We are looking for an experienced, highly motivated Construction Manager based in the United States who can put their expertise to work on a variety of community building initiatives: Accelerate every human by scaling first and enabling equal access to World. This person will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects simultaneously and serving as the worksite representative for dealings with subcontractors, suppliers, customers, and government inspectors, ensuring projects are developed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The construction manager will ensure compliance with all national and local procedures, regulations, and codes, and will provide progress updates to appropriate management channels on a regular basis.
Manage worksites for new-construction as well as coordinating activities and ensuring that all work is in sync with project goals and objectives
Provide direction to general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors when doing groundwork to ensure that quality standards are being met
Liaise with engineers, architects, and others working on a project
Prepare and manage estimates, budgets, timetables, and resources
Identify, mitigate, and track recurring construction issues
Adhere to legal regulations, building and safety codes, and other requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other specialists; hire full-time and part-time subcontractors and laborers and coordinate their schedules
Visit sites regularly during construction — including bid walks, preconstruction walks, in-progress visits, punch walks, and closeouts — and attend status and coordination meetings
Conduct and document quality assurance and safety inspections throughout the construction process, ensuring that the work environment is acceptable and that tools and equipment are in good working condition
Maintain and update SOW and preconstruction documents, and meet contract obligations by developing relationships with reliable contractors and vendors
Respond efficiently and effectively to work delays, emergencies, and other project disruptions
About You

Project Management Expertise: You have a proven ability to develop and manage budgets, schedules, and resources, ensuring seamless execution and delivery.

Technical Knowledge: You have a deep understanding of construction methods, building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
Detail-Oriented & Strategic: You balance big-picture thinking with a keen eye for details, ensuring precision and efficiency in every construction phase.
Commitment to Safety & Quality: You uphold the highest standards of workmanship and compliance, ensuring safe and legally compliant worksites.
Preferred skills and qualifications
Professional certification, such as CCM (certified construction manager), AC (associate constructor), or CPC (certified professional constructor)
Working knowledge of green building practices

The reasonably estimated salary for this role at TFH ranges from $175k - $200k plus a competitive long term incentive package. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
