About the Team
This role is part of our World App team, which since its launch in 2022, has grown to 24 million monthly active users globally and is on track to become the largest crypto wallet in the world. World App empowers users all across the globe to access financial services, and is the pioneer in supporting the privacy-preserving proof of personhood protocol, World ID. World App continues to evolve and grow significantly. Most recently World App introduced a comprehensive developer platform, app store and SDK support which is now enabling developers to build entire businesses on top of World App, with access to a vast network of unique humans.
This role is based in San Francisco, CA and/or Munich, Germany. We are in the office 5 days a week with circumstantial flexibility and offer relocation assistance to new employees.
About the Opportunity
As a senior software engineer you’ll be designing and building highly scalable systems to support the App. In this role, you will:
Build end-to-end features & functionality of the app. You will be responsible for building entire features, which will include working with designers, other engineers and in some cases non-technical stakeholders
Craft durable, well-tested, and secure code with an unwavering commitment to product quality
Design and architect core functionality, including improving existing models for better scalability and performance
Have a meaningful impact on the future of World App. Engineers at TFH are expected to drive product development.
Invent thoughtful iOS tech and open source it
About You
Experience leading projects (ex. build or improve customer experiences, product resiliency, or backend integrations)
Experience creating readable, well-crafted, and maintainable code
Experience voicing customer feedback into product solutions (engineering makes substantive contributions to product definition)
Bias to action, you are proactive, step on toes and communicate clearly
Passion about practical usage of blockchain technologies. We expect everyone on our team to be familiar and use blockchain products.
3+ years of native iOS development experience

Pay transparency statement (for CA based roles):
The reasonably estimated salary for this role at TFH ranges from $216,000 - $240,000, plus a competitive long term incentive package. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
