Congratulations! You have a verified World ID, now what? Welcome to the network of [INSERT TICKER] verified humans.
First off, a refresher of what a World ID is. Think of it as a more sophisticated but less frustrating captcha that you can use in the age of AI. More specifically, your verified World ID is a private digital credential you can use to anonymously prove that you are a human online. Importantly, all of the information used to create your World ID is encrypted and securely stored on your phone.
Now, let’s dive into what you can do with your verified World ID.
Explore Mini Apps
Mini Apps are created by third-party developers for use within World App. You know how you can download Apple or Android apps for your phone? Mini Apps are like that, but sit within World App and are optimized for privacy. (Thanks to an integration with World ID, Mini Apps don’t track your activity across other applications, like many apps do.)
Mini Apps include everything from Polls for verified human voting, to microlending for verified humans, to apps that leverage World ID to prove you’re human on social media networks. Mini Apps can also connect you to decentralized lending networks and human-only Telegram groups. In addition, you can use WLD in Mini Apps to buy gifts or eSIMs for your phone.
Prove you are a human via online integrations
World ID allows people to prove they are human online without sacrificing their privacy. World is adding new integrations and pilots all the time. For example:
- Gamers can avoid being beaten by bots when they join multiplayer games with their Razer ID.
- Tinder is integrating World ID so singles will be able to connect with real humans and not robots.
- Through a World ID integration, Discord admins can decide to host “humans only” channels within a server to prevent bot activity, or assign different server roles to users who verify with World ID
- Merchants on Shopify can issue one-time discounts to customers who verify with World ID to prevent fraud or coupon-stacking
And so much more is possible. World envisions integrations with ticketing providers to prevent hoarding, online marketplaces to mitigate fraud, and social media sites to stop fake accounts from gaining a foothold.
Claim your WLD airdrop
Each person with a verified World ID is entitled, to a share of Worldcoin (WLD)*, a digital token that distributes ownership of the network to every participant. The only requirement for ownership is unique humanness. You can claim your share within the Worldcoin Mini App, and then your WLD will be available directly in your World App wallet.
What can you do with WLD? You can hold onto it or, where available, put it in a Vault. In many countries, you can also exchange it for fiat currencies, through integrations with major cryptocurrency exchanges worldwide including Binance, Coinbase, Kraken, OKX, Bybit and many others. People are increasingly using it within World’s growing ecosystem, specifically for in-app payments on Mini Apps.
