Last month we announced Retroactive Mini App Rewards, a one-time recognition for the early builders who helped bring the World ecosystem to life. Today we have distributed 1M WLD to early Mini App builders who achieved user traction, delivered meaningful products, and played a key role in kickstarting the World Mini App ecosystem.
Why this matters
The early days of any ecosystem depend on builders who take the first leap. These teams shipped products before anyone knew what was possible, brought in real users, and laid the groundwork for what World is becoming today.
This one-time reward recognizes those early contributions. Eligible builders met criteria including:
- 10K+ verified unique humans by May 16, 2025.
- Be live and accessible: products still active in the ecosystem.
- Compliance: Adherence to program guidelines and ToS.
