The World Chain network continues to grow in advance of its upcoming mainnet launch.
Today, Safe has deployed its Safe{Core} smart account infrastructure on the World Chain developer preview, offering builders access to one of the most trusted smart contract frameworks to create innovative applications on World Chain without sacrificing security.
The advanced account abstraction capabilities allow for more flexible and user-friendly experiences, removing complexities like gas fee management and account recovery.
“Worldcoin and Safe have a long history together, from being value aligned around things like security, self custody and credible neutrality to World App using Safe as the default smart account for every wallet,” said Remco Bloemen, head of blockchain at the Worldcoin Foundation. “Deploying Safe{Core} on World Chain is another step forward in this collaboration, giving developers a suite of tools to power and uplevel their applications.”

The deployment of Safe{Core} on World Chain comes as an increasing number of organizations are supporting and building on the blockchain designed for humans. Recently, platforms like Alchemy, Elliptic and Fireblocks have announced partnerships or integrations with World Chain, and more will be added in the coming weeks.
World Chain will serve as an ecosystem of decentralized financial and identity apps focused on real world utility.
Verified humans will enjoy priority blockspace over bots, and a free gas allowance so it’s easy to get started. The network is secured by Ethereum as a Layer 2, built on the Superchain. And will be a place for developers to reach millions of users with apps focused on real world utility.
