The program is exclusively designed for startups that are part of a participating Build Latam Partner (VC) portfolio or network, with an operating business in Latin America.
Startups must be nominated by the participating partner firm to apply for the program and then they need to individually apply through a specific program’s website.
WLD Grants may be distributed based on several factors, including the startup's stage, uses of grants, and product-market fit
The Grant release schedule will be tailored to each startup depending on their plans. Some key milestones might include, number of users with a verified World ID, on-chain transactions, successful integration of World ID to the product, amongst other criteria.
Startups must build solutions that leverage Worldcoin, World ID, World Chain, Mini-Apps, spanning a variety of industries, for example:
- E-commerce: Discounts for verified users, fraud prevention
- NFTs & Wallets: Ensuring authenticity of digital assets
- Social & Community Platforms: Social media and dating app integrations
- Governance: Platforms for verified human participation in polls/votes
- Payments & Crypto Infrastructure: On/off-ramp solutions for crypto-fiat conversions
- Anti-Fraud & KYC: Additional security layers in user verification
- UBI & Social Benefits: Distribution of benefits to unique individuals
Startups in the program receive access to TFH’s technical support and product expertise for guidance on integrating World ID, developing Mini-apps, and resolving technical challenges. Additional resources include:
