Fireblocks expands security support to World Chain

Fireblocks, an easy-to-use platform to create new blockchain based products, and manage day-to-day digital asset operations, has added support for the World Chain network. 

Effective immediately, Fireblocks users can custody WLD* in their Fireblocks Vault and securely transfer WLD on the Fireblocks Network. Additionally, the company’s advanced security solutions will provide assurances to World Chain’s institutional stakeholders that their use of WLD is not only more secure but also streamlined.

“Fireblocks is an important and exciting new addition to the World Chain network,” said Remco Bloemen, head of blockchain at the Worldcoin Foundation. “Their trusted digital asset infrastructure will allow World Chain to quickly and securely scale around the world on day one.”

The expansion of Fireblocks’s support to include World Chain comes as an increasing number of organizations are supporting the blockchain designed for humans. Recently, infrastructure providers like Alchemy and Elliptic have announced partnerships with World Chain, and more will be added in the coming weeks. 

World Chain will serve as an ecosystem of decentralized financial and identity apps focused on real world utility. 

Verified humans will enjoy priority blockspace over bots, and a free gas allowance so it’s easy to get started. The network is secured by Ethereum as a Layer 2, built on the Superchain. And will be a place for developers to reach millions of users with apps focused on real world utility.
