Add privacy-preserving verification to account opening, digital banking access, account recovery and high-risk account activity. World ID helps protect client accounts from automated abuse and impersonation.
World ID is a universal set of human Proofs for the internet that add privacy-preserving verification to your security defenses, so high-stakes transactions rely on evidence about the human behind an interaction, not guesswork.
Be certain about the human behind each action with World ID Proofs. Proof of Human is the highest standard of verification only made possible by encrypted and anonymous hardware verification at the Orb.
Account integrity starts with knowing there is only one unique human behind one account. World ID Proofs use humanness and uniqueness verification and risk signals to strengthen account access and recovery while limiting Sybil attacks and fraud.
Preserve the highest standards of user privacy with World ID Proofs. Your institution only receives anonymous, decentralized cryptographic Proofs and signals.

Your institution only receives cryptographic Proofs and signals. No personal information is shared or stored. Other information depends on the Proof and integration; we’ll review what is received, retained and linked to your client records.
Yes. World ID can strengthen account access, account recovery and transfer flows. In a demo, we’ll review the Proofs, integration and availability for your business priorities, including transfers. Your institution controls authorization, retries, fallback and review.
Clients use the World ID app to manage and use their Proofs. Proof of Human requires verification at an Orb, this is an in-person process that takes 3-4 minutes. Proof of Presence uses a selfie on the client’s mobile device. Enrollment and repeat authentication depend on the integration and regional availability. Learn more about World ID Proofs here.
No. Your institution remains responsible for legal identity, eligibility, compliance and account ownership.
World ID Proofs can support one human per account limits through uniqueness risk scores. “Unique” means that someone is one of one. This ground truth is important because it allows platforms to delegate X amount of actions to one person. Knowing that one person is unique creates the foundation for many systems to operate (e.g., one human, one account) and reduce fraud (e.g., sybil attacks). Your platform implements the account connection, duplicate checks and enforcement rules.
