The Worldcoin project was conceived in 2019 as a way to help every human access the global economy and benefit from the coming age of AI. After years of research, development and testing, it launched on July 24, 2023.
The past 12 months have been transformational. They’ve enabled millions of people around the world to join the Worldcoin community and access financial services, seen the development and implementation of cutting edge privacy and security enhancements and, perhaps most importantly, brought together experts, developers and other key contributors to collaboratively advance Worldcoin’s mission.
Thank you for all you’ve done to move this project forward. Every handshake, every question, every critique, every verification; they have enabled the teams building Worldcoin to take the critical first steps towards creating a new identity and financial network that belongs to everyone.
