Across integrates with World Chain for fast, secure cross-chain transactions

Across has integrated with World Chain to enable fast, secure and affordable cross-chain transactions across multiple EVM-compatible chains.

A leading interoperability protocol powered by intents, Across offers efficient low-cost bridging to help transfer value between mainnet Ethereum and L2s. This integration enables World Chain to expand into the broader Ethereum L2 landscape starting on day one while simultaneously unlocking two important actions: 

• World Chain developers can build powerful cross-chain applications with native interoperability
• World Chain users can easily bridge ETH, wETH, USDC, and wBTC from other chains to the World Chain ecosystem

Because World Chain is part of Optimism’s Superchain, it’s able to leverage ERC-7683, a swapping standard co-developed by Across and Uniswap, to enable cross chain interoperability powered by intents. 

The announcement of the Across integration comes on the heels of both World Chain’s mainnet launch and Across’s integration with Uniswap. With 7M+ verified humans and 15M+ World ID holders migrating or already migrated, World Chain is already the chain with the largest number of individually verified humans in the world.

World Chain was designed to prioritize anonymously verified human interactions over bots and AI through direct protocol integrations with World ID for proof-of-human verification. It works alongside Optimism and the wider Ethereum ecosystem as part of the Superchain.
