Earning on Morpho Vaults
Morpho Vaults are an onchain way for you to make your assets available to be used as loans for others. When you deposit your assets into a vault, other market participants called “curators” can make those tokens available to others who would want to borrow them.
You can access the Morpho Vaults on the Morpho Mini App in World App, or the Oku extensive browser frontend interface.
When curators loan assets deposited into a Morpho Vault, the borrowers pay interest on the loan. A portion of this interest is reflected in the earn rate. This earn rate may also include additional rewards on top of the interest-based rate depending on availability.
Humans who are World ID verified can earn additional rewards on their deposits in Morpho Vaults. Priority rewards for humans are only possible on World. All deposit amounts are eligible for baseline rewards, without any limits, but priority rewards for verified World ID users are only applied to the first $250 in the USDC vault, and the first 250 WLD in the WLD vault respectively.
Lending and Borrowing
With a crypto-backed loan, you can borrow assets like USDC.e or WETH using your crypto (without having to sell it) on World as collateral. Borrowing is enabled by the Morpho onchain lending protocol on World Chain.

The amount you can borrow depends on your available collateral and the amount of the loan assets available in the respective Morpho lending markets. There are no hard limits on how much you can borrow.
LTV is the ratio of the total outstanding amount of your loan (including principal and all accrued and unpaid interest) to the current market value of your collateral.
The crypto assets that you’re required to pledge as collateral will be withdrawn from your wallet on World Chain, and transferred onchain into a Morpho smart contract. This collateral is what secures your loan in the event of a default. If your LTV ratio exceeds the required limits, some or all of your collateral may be “liquidated” (i.e., sold) automatically to cover the difference.
Interest rates are variable and calculated automatically according to the Morpho protocol and curator’s configurations based on market conditions – such that it varies every few seconds with each block creation on World Chain. There are no World fees. You only pay the variable interest rate set by open lending markets on Morpho.
Loans taken out through the Morpho Mini App can be repaid on the Morpho Mini App. Loans taken out through the Oku extensive browser frontend interface can be repaid there.
